The Riverside Walk is five kilometres, but the festival can tackle the 20km section of the Great North Walk, which, although slightly uphill, has plenty of steps.

Kilauea Military Camp Hawaii Island
The surrounding forest includes 300 species of plants, including giant gum trees. You can see bandicoots, swamp wallabies, turtles and dozens of bird species. Hale Koa, one of four Armed Forces Recreation Centers (AFRC), is Hawaii's most famous military hotel.
It is also the only military hotel on Waikiki Beach. Hale Koa's prime location gives you easy access to Oahu's famous beaches, as well as the many shops and restaurants of the Waikiki area. Other amenities at Hale Koa include a day spa, beach equipment rentals, a fitness center, and numerous on-site activities organized by the hotel.

They can accommodate up to four guests. The apartment units at Na Mokulua, each with two bedrooms, are fully furnished and can comfortably sleep four adults. The cottages and apartments all have WiFi. The Pililau Army Recreation Center is located on the island of Oahu and has 39 beachfront cabins, a special visitor cabin, an equipment rental center and facilities for the use of active, reserve and retired military personnel.
Hale Koa Hotel Oahu
Instructions vary by installation. At MCBH, for example, you have to sponsor your guests and you can get a day pass from the pass office (see the FAQ tab on this page). They can accompany you on the commission, but they cannot buy anything themselves.
Hale Koa is a full resort that easily rivals neighboring civilian hotels in terms of space and service. The impressive swimming pool was renovated in 2019 and includes two large pools. The main pool overlooking the beach has a water slide, a toy pirate ship, waterfalls and many other kid-friendly features.
The adults-only pool is set in a garden-like setting surrounded by palm trees. During your stay, rent outdoor and water sports equipment at the community recreation center, get discount tickets to local activities through the ticket and tour desk, or catch a movie at the outdoor theater downstairs.
These two-bedroom homes, all furnished and equipped with full kitchens and dining and living rooms, have private decks with barbecue grills and views of Kaneohe Bay. The cottages have air conditioning, WiFi and daily cleaning. Temporary Housing Allowance (TLA) is designed to help you financially while you look for somewhere to live.

The Beach Cottages At Kaneohe Bay
Bellows is an Air Force base located on beautiful Waimanalo Beach on the east side of Oahu. The resort offers a variety of accommodation options to suit every budget and travel style, including over 100 beach resorts, 16 condos, 10 campsites and over 50 campsites.

They also offer private surfing lessons! The loop trail around Iron Cove in the Inner West is fully paved, passes through suburbia and has traffic noise, so it may not suit your hiking needs. But the seven-kilometer stretch will give you a good workout, and the views will change along the way, sometimes looking up at soaring skyscrapers, sometimes at interspersed mangrove swamps.
Good interpretive signs highlight the local flora and fauna, or you can listen to an audio app to learn interesting facts - for example, Rhode Island was used by the great French scientist Louis Pasteur's grandson to eradicate rabbits.

Bellows Air Force Station Oahu
The cabins are located directly on the water and offer 29 rooms each with one king-size bed or two queen-size beds, a small living area, sink and mini-fridge. Guests use the communal toilets with bath and shower cabins.
The cabanas, described on the MCBH website as "elevated camping", offer WiFi, air conditioning and daily housekeeping. The Turtle Cove Shop is the central location for all entertainment in Bellows. They rent a variety of sports and beach equipment as well as anything you need for camping.
Other activities offered through Turtle Cove include kayak tours, yoga, golf, horseback riding and various ocean sports lessons. At Turtle Cove, you can also purchase discount tickets to local attractions. PMRF is Kauai's only military resort and has beach huts and a hotel-style facility.
Most cabins can accommodate up to six guests, while the VIP cabin can accommodate up to eight. All cabins are fully equipped and include a kitchen, washer/dryer and grill. Make plans to enjoy the wonders of Hawaii!
The Cabanas At Kaneohe Bay
Advance booking is recommended. Tours are conducted by experienced Hawaii-certified KMC guides in air-conditioned vehicles. In addition to the guided parts of the tour, guests will also have the opportunity to explore some of the sites on their own.
The more luxurious Cedar Camper cabins are located in a wooded area. They have no electricity, kitchen or bathroom, but they have access to a bathroom nearby. Each cabin has a queen bed and a twin bed.
If you prefer tent camping, Bellows offers three separate family campsites along with a group campsite. Away from the hustle and bustle of Oahu is the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF), located on the western side of the island of Kauai.
